Terms of use

By installing or using Tern you agree to these terms.

  1. Tern is in beta. Tern is still being built and tested. It may have bugs that cause failed trades, wrong numbers or lost funds. If you use Tern during the beta, you do so at your own risk and you accept that risk.
  2. We're not liable for losses. To the fullest extent the law allows, Tern and the people who make it aren't liable for any loss or damage from using Tern. That includes lost funds, trading losses, missed or failed trades, delayed transactions, bugs, outages, and problems with any service Tern relies on.
  3. Tern is software, not a broker. Tern is a browser extension that builds and sends transactions from your own wallet. We never hold your funds, can't move them and can't reverse a transaction.
  4. Your keys are your responsibility. Your wallet is encrypted in your browser with your passphrase. We never see your private key or passphrase, so we can't recover either one.
  5. Not financial advice. Nothing in Tern, its Discord or its posts is financial advice. Memecoins are extremely risky and most go to zero. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
  6. Fees. 1% of each trade, and 2% of the dev buy when you launch a coin, paid in SOL inside the same transaction. You see your rate before your first trade and again if it ever changes. Network fees, priority fees and tips are separate and go to the network, not to Tern.
  7. No guarantees. Trades can fail, land late or fill at a worse price within your slippage. Axiom, pump.fun, RPCs, Jito and the other services Tern uses can go down or change without warning. Tern is provided as is, with no warranties of any kind.
  8. Pauses. We may pause new buys or coin launches, for example during an outage. Selling is never paused.
  9. Coin launches. You're responsible for what you launch. When a dev buy is split across several wallets, every one is listed publicly in the coin's description. Using Tern for scams or rugs gets you removed from Tern's Discord.
  10. Who can use Tern. You must be 18 or older and allowed to trade crypto where you live.
  11. Not affiliated. Tern isn't made by or affiliated with Axiom, pump.fun or Solana.
  12. Changes. We may update these terms. Changes go on this page with a new date and are posted in Tern's Discord. Using Tern after a change means you accept it.
